Walk for Recovery II
Come out and walk with us to support your local recovery community. We will meet at Riverside Park on Rivermont Ave. in Lynchburg on Saturday, July 13 at 2PM. We will give out shirts, give recognition to our sponsors, hand out water and snacks, and go for a walk down the Avenue. Upon return, lunch and beverages will be served.
Free Bowling Night
Spend an evening bowling and socializing with other people in recovery! Enjoy free games and free shoe rentals while meeting other recovering people in our community.

Free Mini Golf Event

REVIVE! Opioid Overdose and Naloxone Education Training

REVIVE! is the Opioid Overdose and Naloxone Education (OONE) program for the Commonwealth of Virginia. REVIVE! provides training on how to recognize and respond to an opioid overdose emergency using naloxone.
Trainings are between 1-1.5 hours long. This training covers understanding opioids, how opioid overdoses happen, risk factors for opioid overdoses, and how to respond to an opioid overdose emergency with the administration of Naloxone.
Upon completion of this course you will receive your REVIVE! certification as well as a REVIVE! overdose reversal kit.
*REVIVE kits do not contain Naloxone. You may use your REVIVE certification to obtain free Naloxone at your local health department or community service board.

REVIVE! Opioid Overdose and Naloxone Education Training

Movie Night: Bill W.
Join us Sunday, May 2nd for our first movie night on the big screen. We will be showing the documentary Bill W, a feature length film on Bill Wilson, the co-founder of Alcoholics Anonymous.
Food and drinks will be available and feel free to bring your own dish. Seating will be provided or you may bring your own chair if it is more comfortable for you.
Admission is free and donations are accepted.
The movie will be shown at Amazement Square in their Education Center. This space is equipped with a projection system and surround sound. Food and beverages begin at 3:30 pm and the movie will begin at 4:00 pm.
